R-32 boils at about −52 °C and has a higher vapour pressure than R-134a, around 14 bar at 20 °C, so equipment must be rated accordingly. Because it is mildly flammable, remove ignition sources, ventilate the work area and use spark-free tools and certified recovery machines. Technicians should be trained in A2L handling. Never mix R-32 with other refrigerants.
