Compressed nitrogen from REAL GAZ is nitrogen separated from air and filled into cylinders or bundles at high pressure, giving you a large volume of gas in a small, portable package. A 50 litre cylinder at 200 bar releases roughly 9 to 10 cubic metres of gas, enough for many hours of normal workshop use.

Our gas is supplied to EN ISO 11114 material compatibility principles, in cylinders per ISO 9809 and bundles to EN ISO 10961, for fabrication and maintenance customers.
For laser cutting, nitrogen at 15 to 20 bar is common, and a pack of twelve cylinders gives a convenient reserve with one connection point. Regulators must be rated for full cylinder pressure and fitted with a relief device on the low-pressure side. Where flow is high, a manifold with automatic changeover keeps the machine running while empty cylinders are swapped.
Cost efficiency comes from matching the delivery format to the process. Where nitrogen is used a few hours each week, single cylinders are the economical answer. Transport and storage rules are straightforward. Cylinders travel upright and restrained, with valve caps fitted, and are stored in a dry, ventilated place at least a few metres from flammable materials. Never use oil or grease on a nitrogen fitting, and never refill a cylinder yourself, since only authorised stations may fill and mark it.
