Technical Gas R-410A โ Reliable HFC Refrigerant for Modern Cooling
Technical Gas R-410A from REAL GAZ is a near-azeotropic HFC refrigerant blend made of 50 % difluoromethane (R-32) and 50 % pentafluoroethane (R-125) by weight. It operates at higher pressure than R-22, which allows compact, efficient heat exchangers in modern equipment.
Each batch is blended gravimetrically and checked for composition, moisture and non-condensable gases before it is filled.

REAL GAZ supplies R-410A in line with ISO 817 (safety class A1), EN 378 system requirements and the purity limits of AHRI 700, suitable for installation and service work.
๐ญ Where R-410A Is Used
- โ๏ธ Split and multi-split air conditioners โ residential and commercial units designed for R-410A use its higher working pressure for compact coils;
- ๐ฌ Heat pumps โ reversible heating and cooling systems rely on the refrigerant for stable year-round performance;
- ๐ฅ Chillers and rooftop units โ packaged systems in offices, shopping centres and hotels are charged with R-410A at the factory or on site;
- ๐ Service and retrofit work โ technicians need clean, dry refrigerant for topping up and recharging after leak repairs.
๐ก Why Choose REAL GAZ
- โ Defined composition โ the 50/50 weight ratio is controlled so that charge calculations remain accurate;
- ๐งช Low moisture โ dry refrigerant protects compressors, expansion valves and POE oils from acid formation;
- ๐ฏ Right-sized packs โ cylinders suit both a single service call and a large installation project;
- ๐ Compliance awareness โ documentation supports F-gas record keeping and safe handling on site;
- ๐ Certificate of Analysis (CoA) โ supplied with every order.
๐ฌ Quality Control & Safety
- liquid-phase sampling for composition;
- moisture and acidity measurement;
- non-condensable gas check;
- leak testing and valve integrity checks.
Cylinders comply with ADR / UN transport rules and relevant EN/ISO standards.
๐ฆ Handling and Storage
R-410A must always be charged as a liquid from the cylinder, because the two components have different vapour pressures. Use gauges and hoses rated for at least 45 bar, never mix it with R-22 or R-407C, and recover used refrigerant into a dedicated recovery cylinder. Store cylinders upright, away from heat above 50 ยฐC, and secure them against falling. Wear gloves and eye protection when connecting hoses, because liquid release causes cold burns. Because R-410A operates at roughly 60 per cent higher pressure than R-22, equipment must be designed for it, and existing R-22 systems cannot simply be converted. Its global warming potential of 2088 places it under phase-down rules in many regions, so accurate charging, leak checks and record keeping matter. Our team can explain recovery, reclaim and disposal routes for used cylinders, and advise when lower-GWP alternatives such as R-32 may suit a new project.
