At 99.5% minimum purity, technical oxygen carries a small share of argon and nitrogen, which does not affect cutting or heating. Standard cylinders hold between 1.5 and 10 cubic metres of gas, and cylinder packs of twelve or sixteen provide continuous supply to shop manifolds.
