Technical gas hydrogen from REAL GAZ is a colourless, odourless, extremely light and highly flammable gas used wherever a clean reducing atmosphere or an energy carrier is required. We supply it at 99.9 % and 99.99 % purity in steel cylinders and bundles filled to 200 bar.

All supply follows ISO 14687 purity definitions where relevant, ISO 17025 testing and ADR rules for flammable gases, for industrial and laboratory customers.
Hydrogen burns with an almost invisible flame and has a very wide flammable range, from about 4 % to 75 % in air. It also has a low ignition energy, so static electricity from clothing or tools can be enough to start a fire. Good practice includes earthing equipment, avoiding synthetic clothing in storage areas and keeping cylinder valves closed when not in use.

Hydrogen leaks upward and disperses quickly outdoors, which makes outdoor or well-ventilated storage the preferred option.
