Technical Gas CO₂ Solid — technical grade solid CO₂ for process use
Technical gas CO₂ solid is dry ice made from technical grade carbon dioxide, typically at least 99.5 % pure, suited to jobs where food contact is not involved.
REAL GAZ offers it at a practical cost for cleaning, cooling and chemical process support.

Grades are defined on specification sheets in line with EIGA guidance and ADR UN 1845, suitable for process and maintenance use.
Technical grade does not mean uncontrolled. We state water, oil and hydrocarbon limits on the specification sheet, and customers who later need food grade may switch within the same account. Each batch can be traced to its production day.
🏭 Where Technical-Grade Solid CO₂ Is Used
- ⚙️ Surface preparation — dry ice blasting removes soot and fire damage from structures;
- 🔬 Chemical processing — cold CO₂ vapour provides an inert blanket for reactors;
- 🏥 Pipe freezing — blocks wrapped around a pipe form an ice plug so repairs can proceed without draining;
- 🚀 Cable and electronics — non-conductive blasting cleans motors and switchgear once the equipment is made safe.
💡 Why Choose REAL GAZ
- ✅ Clear grade — specification states purity and moisture limits;
- 🧪 Value for money — technical grade avoids paying for unneeded purity;
- 🎯 Traceable lots — production date is recorded;
- 🔒 Upgrade path — food grade is available when required.
- 📄 Certificate of Analysis (CoA) — supplied with every order.
🔬 Quality Control & Safety
- purity check of source CO₂;
- dew point control;
- weighing and packaging;
- UN 1845 labelling.
Cylinders and packaging comply with ADR / UN transport rules and relevant EN/ISO standards.
⚙️ Trusted Gas Solutions
REAL GAZ supplies technical gas CO₂ solid to contractors and process plants in Azerbaijan, Turkey, Georgia, Uzbekistan and the USA, with the paperwork carriers expect.
Where a job involves enclosed tanks or vessels, remember that sublimating dry ice displaces oxygen. Confined-space rules apply, including gas testing, forced ventilation and a standby person. We encourage contractors to share their method statements so that quantity, particle size and delivery time can be planned together and the work finishes safely and on schedule.
Typical technical grade specifications limit moisture to a few parts per million in the feed gas, and cap oil and total hydrocarbons to low levels, so the pellets remain clean enough for most industrial surfaces. Because the solid is produced on demand, freshness is preserved. For customers who run regular campaigns such as annual turbine overhauls, we plan production ahead, reserve the required volume and arrange delivery directly to the work site.
REAL GAZ — fit-for-purpose CO₂, no more, no less.
