Composition is verified using methods aligned with ISO 17025 practice and measured against AHRI 700 limits, suited to OEM and test-bench work.
For specialty applications the question is rarely only purity. Engineers also ask whether the blend ratio is within tolerance, because a drift in R-143a or R-134a content changes dew point, bubble point and capacity. Moisture matters as well: water above a few parts per million can freeze at the expansion device and, together with POE oil, form acids.
