Production follows ISO 6142 gravimetric blending for synthetic air, ISO 6143 for analytical comparison, and quality management consistent with ISO 17025.
Zero air typically specifies total hydrocarbons below 0.1 ppm, with carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and nitrogen oxides also held at trace levels. Synthetic air is made by blending high-purity nitrogen and oxygen, which avoids the variable impurities in ambient air. Customers sometimes request humidified or CO₂-containing versions to simulate breath or stack conditions, and these can be prepared as special mixtures. Cylinder pressures of 150 to 200 bar are common, and we advise using stainless steel regulators with low dead volume. A short conversation about your analyser and its tolerance is usually enough for us to recommend the economical grade. For long-term programmes we can reserve a lot, so that every cylinder in a campaign comes from the same blend and the same analysis.
