📦 Handling & Storage of SF₆ Blends
Mixtures with a low SF₆ fraction are filled at pressures that avoid liquefaction, but they should still be kept above the minimum temperature stated on the certificate. Roll or shake nothing, but allow cylinders to stand at room temperature for several hours before use if they have been stored in the cold. Use a dedicated stainless regulator, purge the line before sampling, and stop using the cylinder when its pressure drops to the value given on the certificate.
