SAFETY QUICK CONNECTOR — shut-off couplings that protect people and equipment

A safety quick connector from REAL GAZ adds automatic shut-off and positive locking to a gas connection, so a hose can be disconnected without releasing gas into the work area. It is intended for fuel gas, oxygen and other duties where an uncontrolled release is unacceptable.
Designs combine check-valve action, a locking sleeve and gas-specific profiles, giving an additional layer of protection beside regulators and flashback arresters.

Safety functions are selected in line with EN 561 for couplings with shut-off valves and used alongside EN 730-1 / ISO 5175-1 flashback arresters, for welding, cutting and heating installations.

Choosing the right model starts with the gas, the hose bore and the working pressure. Fuel gas models use left-hand threads and a distinct profile, while oxygen models are cleaned and packed separately, so that the two can never be confused at a busy cutting station.
