Production and filling follow EN ISO 3807, ISO 14114 and EN 1442, with cylinder valves to EN ISO 10297 and outlet connections to national standards.
Cylinder size should reflect your use. Acetylene must be drawn slowly, usually no more than one seventh of the cylinder capacity per hour, to avoid pulling acetone out of the cylinder, so heavy users should connect several cylinders on a manifold. Propane cylinders can supply more vapour when warm, but heavy draw in cold weather chills the liquid and the flow drops, which may call for a larger cylinder or a vaporiser.
