offshore gas manifold system โ corrosion-resistant gas supply for platforms and vessels
An offshore gas manifold system from REAL GAZ connects several cylinders or bundles to a single outlet line, so that welding, cutting, calibration and instrument gases keep flowing on platforms, supply vessels and drilling rigs.
Each assembly uses marine-suitable stainless steel or coated brass, with automatic changeover so a duty bank can be exhausted without interrupting the process.
Each assembly uses marine-suitable stainless steel or coated brass, with automatic changeover so a duty bank can be exhausted without interrupting the process.
REAL GAZ builds manifold assemblies with regulators to EN ISO 7291, valves to ISO 10297 and material selection guided by ISO 11114, suitable for offshore and marine duty.
Typical configurations pair a duty bank and a reserve bank of 6 to 12 cylinders each, with a first-stage regulator at the header, a second-stage regulator at the point of use and a pressure switch that signals the control room when the reserve is brought into service. Sample ports allow purity checks without opening the line, and all vents are piped to a safe location.
Installation advice: keep the gas store ventilated and shaded, separate oxygen from fuel gases by distance or a fire-rated partition, and secure every cylinder with chains rated for deck motion. Inspect pigtails and gauges at each rotation, and replace flexible hoses on a fixed schedule. Our team can supply a short operating card for the crew.
๐ญ Where Offshore Manifold Systems Are Used
- โ๏ธ Platform welding and maintenance โ centralised acetylene, oxygen and argon-COโ lines let crews work across several decks from one protected gas store;
- ๐ฌ Instrument and analyser supply โ carrier, zero and span gases are routed to process analysers through clean, leak-tested stainless tubing;
- ๐ฅ Safety and standby systems โ manifolds feed emergency and standby equipment where continuity of supply matters more than anything else;
- ๐ Subsea and ROV support vessels โ compact racks supply shielding and purge gas close to workshops on deck without long hose runs.
๐ก Why Choose REAL GAZ
- โ Salt-spray resilience โ wetted parts and fittings are chosen for chloride-rich marine air and frequent washdown;
- ๐งช Gas-specific design โ oxygen, fuel gas and inert service each receive the correct materials, seals and cleaning level;
- ๐ฏ Automatic changeover โ the system switches banks at a set pressure, keeping the outlet steady during cylinder replacement;
- ๐ Protected layout โ non-return valves, flashback arrestors and pressure relief devices are positioned for safe operation;
- ๐ Certificate of Analysis (CoA) โ supplied with every order.
๐ฌ Quality Control & Safety
- degreasing and oxygen-clean preparation of wetted parts;
- helium or nitrogen leak testing of every joint;
- hydrostatic and pneumatic proof testing of headers;
- visual and dimensional inspection before packing.
Cylinders and bundles comply with ADR / UN transport rules, EN 1089-3 colour coding and relevant EN/ISO standards.
โ๏ธ Trusted Gas Solutions
REAL GAZ advises engineering teams on rack size, bank count and outlet pressure for every offshore gas manifold system, then supplies the gases to match. We serve operators and contractors across Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey, Uzbekistan and the USA, with documentation prepared for project handover.
REAL GAZ โ gas supply that stays steady when the sea does not.
