A liquid CO₂ cylinder from REAL GAZ is a seamless steel cylinder filled with carbon dioxide to its approved filling ratio, so it holds the gas as liquid under around 57 bar at 20 °C.
Siphon (dip tube) cylinders deliver liquid for dry ice or cooling, while standard cylinders deliver gas for carbonation and welding.

Cylinders are manufactured to EN ISO 9809, covered by TPED and ADR periodic inspection rules, and equipped with valves to EN ISO 10297, for industrial and food use.

📦 Liquid CO₂ Cylinders: Grades, Cylinders & Handling

CO₂ cylinders are marked with the water capacity, tare weight, test pressure and last test date, and these details determine how much liquid may be filled. A cylinder with a dip tube is identified by a marking at the shoulder, and the user should confirm which type is fitted before connecting. Always open the valve slowly, use a regulator marked for CO₂ and check that the gasket is intact. At full liquid draw, a heater avoids freezing, and a non-return valve protects the cylinder from back flow. Cylinders should be transported upright and secured in vehicles with good ventilation. We perform the periodic inspection and cleaning of our cylinders and can supply spare gaskets, regulators and gauges.
