Liquid and compressed nitrogen are the two main ways to buy this gas, and REAL GAZ supplies both so that you can choose by usage pattern rather than habit.
Liquid nitrogen boils at minus 196 °C and expands about 700 times when it evaporates, which makes it compact to store; compressed nitrogen is easy to connect and needs no vaporiser.

Cryogenic vessels follow EN 13458 and ISO 21029, gas cylinders follow ISO 9809, suitable for cold processing and gas supply use.

For users above a few cubic metres a day, liquid is usually the more economical form because one dewar or tank holds far more gas than a bundle. For occasional or portable demand, compressed cylinders avoid boil-off losses. We can supply low pressure dewars of 25 to 200 litres, and combine them with a small cylinder as backup.

📦 Cryogenic Handling

Liquid nitrogen can cause cold burns and, in closed rooms, oxygen deficiency. Always wear face shield, insulated gloves and closed shoes, never seal a dewar, and keep an oxygen monitor in storage rooms. Compressed cylinders should be stored upright and restrained away from heat sources. Open dewars lose product to evaporation every day, so we help customers choose vessel size by actual consumption instead of buying more capacity than they can use.
