Typical specifications include a 200 bar inlet, a 0 to 4 or 0 to 10 bar outlet, and 1/8 inch or 1/4 inch compression outlets that suit stainless steel or copper tubing. Elastomer seats are avoided in favour of PCTFE or PTFE for very low background. For corrosive calibration gases such as hydrogen sulphide or ammonia mixtures a stainless steel construction is essential, and we will recommend the correct model for each mixture. Users running overnight sequences often add a low-pressure alarm or an automatic changeover so a single empty cylinder cannot interrupt a long analysis.
