Jet control gives the operator a feel for pressure that older regulators lack. The spindle moves a pin within a calibrated orifice, so each degree of rotation changes the flow area by a small, predictable amount. This is useful for glassware, thin-wall tubing and sensors, which can be damaged by sudden pressure rises. Typical outlet ranges are 0-1, 0-4 and 0-10 bar, with inlet ratings up to 200 bar, and bodies are available in brass or stainless steel. Because the control stage is compact, the regulator can be mounted on small cylinders or on wall brackets. As with all regulators, connections should be checked with approved leak-detection liquid, the adjusting knob should be backed off before opening the cylinder, and the unit should be inspected whenever the gas type changes. Users who need a very low outlet for sensor calibration, typically below 0.5 bar, should ask for a low-range gauge so that small adjustments remain easy to read. Replacement seats, O-rings and gauge sets are kept in stock for the common models.
