🚛 Moving and Storing Cylinders
Use trolleys, chains or racks for cylinders and keep valve caps fitted during transport. Store oxygen-containing mixtures separately from fuel gases, ideally with a 3 m gap or a fire-resistant wall. Avoid direct sun, and ensure that gas stores have ventilation near the floor and ceiling. Return empty cylinders with valves closed and a little residual pressure, which keeps moisture out. Our delivery crews can check store layouts during visits.
