We recommend sending your work scope two weeks ahead, listing the number of workers, shift length, apparatus type and cylinder capacity, so we can calculate usage with a safety reserve of at least 30 percent. Cylinders can be delivered to the gate, to a staging area or to a mobile container, and empties are collected under the same visit. Keep spare cylinders in a marked, shaded area close to the work zone but outside any hazardous atmosphere, and log every exchange for the permit-to-work record.
