Quality classes are described against ISO 8573-1, cylinders conform to ISO 9809 and EN ISO 11114, and analysis is performed under ISO 17025 procedures for industrial and laboratory customers.
Technical air is normally supplied at 200 bar in 50 litre cylinders, with a dew point low enough to prevent condensation in tool lines. Laboratory grades are filtered further and can be specified with total hydrocarbons below 0.1 ppm for flame detectors. If your method calls for synthetic air with exactly 21 % oxygen in nitrogen, ask for a blended grade instead. Mixed orders of both grades share one delivery, one invoice and one set of cylinder rental terms, which keeps purchasing simple for larger sites.
