📦 Fitting and Handling Notes
Purge the regulator several times with the process gas before use, and avoid fitting it to a cylinder that has been left open to air. Store sealed. Use metal or approved clean tubing to protect gas quality.
Purity is lost in small steps: a leaking joint, a long dead leg, a damp tube. To keep the benefit of a high grade cylinder, specify metal or electropolished tubing, keep connections to the minimum and use a cycle purge routine, filling the regulator with gas to a few bar and venting it several times before opening the line to the instrument.
