At 6.0 purity, total impurities stay below one part per million, with typical limits for water, oxygen and total hydrocarbons in the low ppm or ppb range. To keep this purity, cylinders are evacuated to deep vacuum, flushed with the product gas and sealed with brass or stainless steel valves. We advise using stainless steel tubing, metal diaphragm regulators and purge cycles at every connection.
