High purity air is specified by reference to ISO 8573-1 class 1 targets for oil and particles, blended according to ISO 6142 where synthetic air is required, and handled under ISO 17025 competence principles.
Distribution of high purity air demands discipline. Cylinders are dedicated to the grade, never swapped with technical air, and their valves are capped immediately after filling. We use stainless steel or high-quality brass valves with PTFE-free seals where hydrocarbon release could be an issue. Customers commonly specify a dew point of minus 60 degrees Celsius or lower, and hydrocarbon content below 0.1 ppm. Orders are consolidated into regular delivery runs, so that labs in different cities receive their cylinders on a predictable schedule.
