Sulfur dioxide liquefies at modest pressure, so cylinders contain liquid with gas above it; withdrawal rate therefore depends on temperature and cylinder size. Typical packages include 10, 20 and 40 litre cylinders, and heated or manifolded arrangements are available for higher flows.
