High side pressure rises quickly with temperature. A condenser operating at 45 °C saturation sits at roughly 22 bar, so dirty coils, faulty fans or an overcharge can push a system toward its pressure switch limit or relief valve. Technicians therefore combine pressure readings with temperature measurements to judge charge correctly. Cylinders face similar physics: a unit left in a closed van in summer can reach pressures far above those seen at room temperature. REAL GAZ cylinders are designed for this, but safe storage remains the responsibility of the user. Wear eye protection and gloves whenever you connect or disconnect hoses, because trapped liquid can spray out at low temperature.
