A high pressure gas regulator from REAL GAZ reduces the full pressure of a filled cylinder, commonly 200 bar and in some cases 300 bar, to a steady working pressure that downstream equipment can use safely.

Regulators are specified to ISO 2503, with gauges to EN 837-1 and cylinder connections to ISO 5145, DIN 477 or CGA practice, for industrial and laboratory installations.
The inlet rating is the first thing to check. A regulator rated for 200 bar must never be placed on a 300 bar bundle, and a gauge that reads to 315 bar is easier to interpret than one that only just covers the fill pressure. Outlet ranges are chosen so that the normal setting falls in the middle third of the dial, where accuracy is best. For hydrogen, helium and other light gases we recommend stainless steel construction and metal-to-metal sealing to limit permeation.
