High Pressure Ar-Nβ Gas Cylinder β more gas per cylinder at 200 and 300 bar
A high pressure Ar-Nβ gas cylinder from REAL GAZ stores more mixture in the same footprint, reducing changeovers for busy sites. Filling to 200 or 300 bar requires cylinders rated for the higher service pressure and valves matched to it.
Both inert components remain stable under compression, which keeps the composition constant.

Cylinders are designed to ISO 9809 and EN 1964, covered by TPED markings, and the gas is prepared to ISO 6142 for industrial and laboratory customers.
π Where High-Pressure ArgonβNitrogen Cylinders Are Used
- ποΈ Remote sites β fewer cylinder deliveries are needed where access is hard;
- π High-consumption lines β more usable gas per cylinder shortens swap intervals;
- π¬ Long analytical campaigns β a single large fill carries a series of tests;
- π Mobile service vehicles β compact high-capacity cylinders save space.
π‘ Why Choose REAL GAZ
- β Higher capacity β more gas per unit of floor area;
- π§ͺ Composition retained β blends verified after pressurising;
- π― Rated hardware β valves and regulators sized for the working pressure;
- π Safety margin β cylinders are tested above service pressure;
- π Certificate of Analysis (CoA) β supplied with every order.
π¬ Quality Control & Safety
- hydrostatic test status verification;
- slow controlled filling to limit heating;
- post-fill analysis after temperature settles;
- leak checks at full pressure.
Cylinders comply with ADR / UN transport rules and relevant EN/ISO standards.
π¦ Grades, Cylinders & Handling
- π Regulators β use a high-pressure regulator with the correct inlet rating;
- π Temperature β pressure changes with temperature, so keep cylinders cool;
- π Valves β open slowly to avoid shock and heat;
- π Protection β keep valve caps fitted when not in use.
π§ Working Safely at Higher Pressure
A cylinder filled to 300 bar holds a great deal of stored energy, so equipment must be rated for it. Check that the regulator inlet gauge, hoses and fittings carry a suitable pressure rating, and replace worn seals before use. Open the valve slowly, a quarter turn at first, with the regulator outlet closed, to avoid compression heating. Never use grease or oil on the fittings. Keep cylinders away from heat and direct sun, since pressure rises with temperature. Secure them in a vertical position, fit protective caps for transport, and return damaged cylinders for inspection rather than attempting repairs on site. Staff should know the cylinder's pressure rating and never connect it to equipment rated below that figure. For indoor storage, keep high-pressure cylinders in a dedicated, ventilated area away from exits, and mark the zone clearly so visitors and contractors recognise it.
