Headers are usually drawn in 316L stainless steel tube or forged brass, depending on the gas, with outlet sizes from 6 mm to 25 mm. Pigtails are fitted with integral non-return valves, and every gauge is mounted in a position where it can be read without removing the rack cover. Third-party approval of the finished rack remains with the rack owner and surveyor.
