Gas Cylinder Breathing Mix โ ready-to-use respiratory gas blends packed in clean, inspected cylinders
A gas cylinder breathing mix is only as dependable as the cylinder it sits in. REAL GAZ fills synthetic air, oxygen-enriched and helium-based respiratory blends into internally inspected cylinders that have been dried, evacuated and purged before every fill.
Gas is drawn from high purity sources, blended by partial pressure with calibrated instruments and verified for oxygen content afterwards.

Supply is guided by EN 12021, with cylinders covered by EN ISO 11114 material compatibility checks, for safety teams and process operators.
๐ญ Where Breathing Mixes Are Used
- ๐งฏ Rescue and fire services โ synthetic air packs feed self-contained breathing apparatus where compressed ambient air is unsuitable;
- โ๏ธ Mining and tunnelling โ refuge chambers and emergency escape sets depend on reliable cylinder stocks;
- ๐งช Hazardous area work โ tank entry crews use independent air supplies to avoid contaminated atmospheres;
- ๐งโ๐ฌ Research chambers โ controlled oxygen and nitrogen blends support hypoxia and altitude simulation studies;
๐ก Why Choose REAL GAZ
- โ Inspected before every fill โ visual internal inspection removes rust, oil and particles;
- ๐งช Verified oxygen fraction โ we measure the final mix, not only the intended recipe;
- ๐ฆ Convenient packs โ single cylinders, twin sets and manifold packs on a managed exchange cycle;
- ๐ Responsible labelling โ contents, pressure and expiry are visible, and unused cylinders can be returned for refill;
- ๐ Certificate of Analysis (CoA) โ supplied with every order.
๐ฌ Quality Control & Safety
- internal inspection, drying and purge cycles;
- partial-pressure blending with cross-check analysis;
- carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and oil mist limits;
- valve function and leak testing.
Cylinders conform to ISO 9809 and ISO 7866 and travel according to ADR / UN regulations.
๐งฐ Using and Storing Breathing Mixes
Check the label, pressure and test date before each use, and confirm the oxygen percentage with a calibrated analyser on arrival. Open valves slowly, keep regulators and fittings free of oil and grease, and never decant gas from one cylinder to another without suitable equipment and training. Store full and empty cylinders separately, upright and chained, in a ventilated room between 5 and 40 degrees Celsius. Return cylinders with a small residual pressure to keep moisture out, and report any damaged valve or dented shell immediately so we can inspect and, if necessary, retire the unit from service.
