FUEL GAS HOSE RED — colour-coded hose for acetylene, propane and LPG
The Fuel Gas Hose Red from REAL GAZ is a flexible hose for acetylene and other flammable gases, identified by its red cover under the common colour code.
Where propane and LPG are used, an orange cover is common in some regions, so we confirm the colour required by your local code.

🏭 Where Red Fuel Gas Hoses Are Used
- 🔥 Oxy-fuel cutting — a red hose connects the fuel regulator to the torch;
- 🍳 Commercial kitchens — portable burners and flambé torches require flexible gas connections;
- 🏗️ Roofing and waterproofing — propane torches are fed by hose from ground-level cylinders;
- 🧰 Plumbing and HVAC — brazing of copper pipe is done with a lightweight fuel hose.
💡 Why Choose REAL GAZ
- ✅ Flexible and light — easy to coil and carry between jobs;
- 🧪 Gas resistant lining — the compound is suited to fuel-gas permeation limits;
- 🎯 Matched fittings — left-hand nuts and nipples can be supplied together;
- 🔒 Weather resistant — the cover handles sun, rain and workshop oils;
- 📄 Certificate of Analysis (CoA) — supplied with every order.
📐 Selection Guide
- verify the colour code in force for your gas and country;
- choose the bore from the torch data sheet;
- order cut lengths with fittings to save site time.
📦 Supply and Handling
Because fuel gas regulations differ between countries, we check the colour code and the connection type for your site before quoting. Hose is supplied on coils of 20 or 50 metres, or cut to length, and a range of nuts, nipples and clamps is held in stock for fitting at our workshop. Small users, such as kitchens and roofing contractors, can buy single lengths with fittings attached; large users can place standing orders. A short guide to safe connection and leak testing is supplied with the first delivery. Bulk buyers such as distributors and rental firms can ask about branded packaging and mixed pallets that combine red fuel hose with blue oxygen hose and a selection of clamps and nipples.
🔬 Quality Control & Safety
- colour and marking verification;
- tube and cover thickness measurement;
- sample pressure testing;
- leak testing and pressure integrity checks.
Inspect for cracks, especially near the fittings, where flexing is greatest. Products and cylinders comply with ADR / UN transport rules and relevant EN/ISO standards.
