Connections follow ISO 5145, BS 341, DIN 477 and CGA patterns, and colour coding follows EN 1089-3, for industrial and workshop use.
Valve outlet standards differ by country and by gas. Oxygen and inert gases generally use right-hand threads, while fuel gases use left-hand threads with a notch to prevent accidental mixing. Some markets use yoke connections for small cylinders and nut-and-nipple connections for large ones. When you contact us, give the gas name, the cylinder size and, if possible, a photograph of the valve outlet, and we will confirm the matching regulator and outlet fitting. Replacement intervals matter too: diaphragms and seats age with use, so a regulator in daily service should be inspected annually and replaced according to the manufacturer's guidance.
