Cylinder for Welding and Industrial Gases โ€” Shielding and Fuel Gases for Fabrication Shops
A cylinder for welding and industrial gases must hold the correct gas, at the right pressure, with a valve that matches the torch or regulator. REAL GAZ offers shielding mixtures, pure gases and fuel gases in clearly marked, inspected cylinders.
Mixtures of argon with carbon dioxide or oxygen are blended to a tight tolerance for consistent arc behaviour.
Shielding gases are supplied in accordance with EN ISO 14175 classification and cylinder valves follow EN ISO 15996 for welding and cutting operations.

๐Ÿญ Where Welding and Industrial Cylinders Are Used
  • โš™๏ธ MIG/MAG welding โ€” argon-COโ‚‚ and argon-oxygen blends give stable arcs on carbon and low-alloy steels;
  • ๐Ÿ”ฌ TIG welding โ€” pure argon or argon-helium protects stainless steel, aluminium and titanium joints;
  • ๐Ÿฅ Oxy-acetylene cutting and brazing โ€” oxygen with dissolved acetylene provides a hot, controllable flame;
  • ๐Ÿš€ Plasma cutting and purging โ€” nitrogen, argon and mixtures support plasma systems and pipe back-purging.

๐Ÿ’ก Why Choose REAL GAZ
  • โœ… Consistent blends โ€” accurate ratios deliver reproducible weld penetration and appearance;
  • ๐Ÿงช Correct cylinder type โ€” acetylene is supplied in porous-mass cylinders suitable for safe storage;
  • ๐ŸŽฏ Workshop packs โ€” bundles and single cylinders suit small shops and large fabrication yards;
  • ๐Ÿ”’ Safety accessories โ€” flashback arrestors, regulators and hoses can be added to the same order;
  • ๐Ÿ“„ Certificate of Analysis (CoA) โ€” supplied with every order.

๐Ÿ”ฌ Quality Control & Safety
  • blend composition verification;
  • moisture content measurement;
  • acetylene cylinder porous-mass inspection;
  • leak testing of valves and connections.
Cylinders comply with ADR / UN transport rules and relevant EN/ISO standards.

๐Ÿ”ฅ Workshop Safety
Keep oxygen and fuel gas cylinders at least five metres apart or behind a fire-resistant barrier, store acetylene upright, and fit flashback arrestors at both the regulator and the torch. Check hoses for wear before each shift, use soapy water to detect leaks, and close valves after every job. Never use a cylinder without a regulator, and never weld near a pressurised cylinder. Popular shielding blends include argon with 18 per cent COโ‚‚ for general steel work, argon with 2 per cent COโ‚‚ for stainless steel, and argon with 30 per cent helium for thicker aluminium. Cylinder sizes of 10, 20 and 50 litres are common, with bundles for large shipyards and plants. Matching gas to material, wire and current reduces spatter and rework, which saves time and consumables.
