⚠️ Safe Use Reminders
Never use oil, grease or PTFE tape containing hydrocarbons on oxygen fittings, and never use an oxygen regulator on another gas. Nitrogen and argon displace air, so confined spaces need oxygen monitoring and good ventilation. Open valves slowly, keep cylinders upright and secured, and close the valve fully after each shift. Empty cylinders should still be treated as full and returned with the valve closed. Typical packs are 10, 20 and 50 litre cylinders at 200 bar, giving roughly 2, 4 and 10 cubic metres of gas respectively, while higher purity grades such as nitrogen 5.0 or argon 5.0 are available in the same sizes for analytical and electronic uses. Welding customers often choose argon for shielding, oxygen for cutting and nitrogen for pressure testing, so a combined weekly delivery is a practical way to keep one stock list.
