With the longer barrel, keep the torch supported so the weight is not carried on the wrist. Use a suitable cutting nozzle for the fuel, and set pressures from the nozzle table. Always light the torch with a spark lighter, open the fuel valve slightly first, then add oxygen, and protect nearby hoses from falling slag.
The 90 degree head makes this cutter particularly useful for bench and floor cutting, where the operator stands upright and the flame points straight down. For vertical or overhead cuts, take extra care with falling slag and wear suitable head and neck protection.
