Some combinations need care. Olefins such as butadiene can polymerise, acetylene must never exceed safe pressure, and mixtures of unsaturated gases with oxygen are flammable across wide ranges. We will tell you early if a requested recipe is unsafe or unstable, and propose a practical alternative, such as a lower pressure, a different balance gas or two separate cylinders.
A good brief makes a good blend. Please include the list of components with the desired concentration and tolerance, the balance gas, the minimum acceptable pressure, the temperature at which the cylinder will be stored, and any known interferences. With that information we can calculate the dew point, select a cylinder and valve, choose a preparation route, and tell you the achievable accuracy. Samples of the certificate format are available on request, so that your quality team can approve it in advance. Once a recipe is approved we store it under a reference number, so a reorder needs only that number, the quantity and the delivery date, with the same documentation as before.
