A full CO₂ cylinder holds liquid, so the gauge shows vapour pressure of roughly 57 bar at 20 °C regardless of how much remains. The pressure falls only when the liquid is nearly gone, which is why a weight check is the reliable way to know contents. Gauge ranges on our regulators are chosen with this behaviour in mind.

Safety with carbon dioxide deserves a few plain rules.
