Cylinders are manufactured to ISO 9809 or EN 1964, approved under TPED, and transported under ADR as UN 1049 compressed hydrogen.
Typical formats include 10 L, 20 L and 50 L steel cylinders filled to 200 bar, giving roughly 1.8 m³, 3.6 m³ and 9 m³ of gas respectively, plus cylinder packs for higher consumption. Technical, 5.0 and 6.0 grades are available. Hydrogen cylinders use left-hand threaded outlets, so a dedicated regulator is always required.
Before your first order we ask for the delivery address, access arrangements, storage location and whether trained staff will handle the cylinders. Storage should be outdoors or in a ventilated, fire-resistant cage away from ignition sources and oxidising gases, with cylinders chained upright. Empty cylinders remain pressurised and should be returned with the valve closed and the cap fitted, so that the exchange process stays quick and safe for everyone involved.
