Ar-Nβ Gas Cylinder β filled, labelled and ready to connect
An Ar-Nβ gas cylinder from REAL GAZ arrives with the mixture identified on the label, a valve suited to your equipment and a certificate that records what is inside. The cylinder is as important as the gas, because valve materials and interior finish affect long-term stability.
Steel is used for general mixtures and aluminium for low-ppm certified references.

π§ Reading the Cylinder Label
The label tells you more than the colour of the shoulder. It names the gas or mixture, lists the composition, shows hazard pictograms, gives the cylinder pressure and displays supplier details with a batch reference. Stamped markings on the shoulder show the manufacturing standard, test pressure, water capacity and next inspection date. Check these items before connecting a new cylinder, and report any unclear or damaged marking. Mixtures should never be refilled by users or decanted into other containers. Keep valve outlet threads clean and free of oil, use the correct sealing washer where the fitting requires one, and test connections with approved leak-detection fluid. Staff handling cylinders daily should receive short refresher training on lifting, securing and recognising damaged valves. When moving cylinders by vehicle, secure them against rolling, keep caps fitted and avoid leaving them in a closed hot cabin.
