Setting up is quick: secure the cylinder, fit the regulator with the valve closed, open the valve slowly, then adjust the knob until the float rests at the flow your procedure requires. Typical values for 1.0 mm wire are around 12 to 15 l/min. Close the cylinder valve at the end of each shift to limit leaks and wear.
Mixtures conform to EN ISO 14175, with regulators designed in line with EN ISO 2503 and cylinders to ISO 9809, for fabrication and maintenance work.
Everyday good practice extends the life of the equipment. Never lubricate the regulator, keep dust caps on the valve outlet when cylinders are stored, and wind hoses loosely rather than tightly around the cylinder.
