AR/CO₂ Gas Regulator with Rotameter for sale — shielding gas control for mixed-gas welding
This AR/CO₂ gas regulator with rotameter for sale is designed for welders who run argon–carbon dioxide mixtures such as Ar 82 / CO₂ 18 or Ar 80 / CO₂ 20 on steel fabrication.
REAL GAZ fits a calibrated flow tube to a brass reducer, so shielding gas flow can be set and repeated from one cylinder to the next.
REAL GAZ fits a calibrated flow tube to a brass reducer, so shielding gas flow can be set and repeated from one cylinder to the next.
The regulator range is selected with reference to EN ISO 2503 and the mixtures to EN ISO 14175 (group M2 and M1 shielding gases), for MAG welding and structural steel fabrication.
Mixed gases behave differently from pure argon at the regulator. Carbon dioxide cools strongly as it expands, and at high flow rates from a nearly full cylinder the reducer can ice up, which makes the flow drift. For that reason we recommend this model for typical welding flows of 10 to 20 litres per minute and suggest a heated unit where continuous high-flow use is planned. The flow tube scale should be read from the top of the ball, and the cylinder should be kept upright and chained to a trolley or wall bracket.
🏭 Where Ar/CO₂ Regulators Are Used
- ⚙️ MAG welding of carbon steel — a steady Ar/CO₂ flow gives a smooth arc and consistent bead profile;
- 🏗️ Structural steelwork — repeatable flow settings help welders meet the procedure sheet on beams and plates;
- 🚗 Automotive repair shops — thin-sheet welding benefits from low, accurately set flows;
- 🚢 Shipyard and pipe fabrication — portable cylinders with a flow tube suit work away from fixed gas lines.
💡 Why Choose REAL GAZ
- ✅ Ready for mixed gas — flow tube scale and seat material suit argon–CO₂ blends;
- 🧪 Matched blends available — order the mixture and the regulator together from one supplier;
- 🎯 Clear purchase options — choose connection, hose size and cylinder volume when you order;
- 🔒 Gas saving — an accurate setting avoids over-flow that wastes mixture and disturbs the weld pool;
- 📄 Certificate of Analysis (CoA) — supplied with every order.
🔬 Quality Control & Safety
- pressure-tested at assembly and again before packing;
- flow reading checked on the mixture family;
- fittings inspected for thread damage and burrs;
- cleanliness checked for oxygen-compatible service where required.
Mixture cylinders are filled and transported under ADR / UN rules, with markings per EN 1089-3.
