Gas groups follow EN ISO 14175, regulator design follows ISO 2503 and hose connections follow EN 560, for industrial and workshop welding.
Compared with the No. 3 model, the No. 2 body is lighter and designed for a lower maximum flow, which suits thin sheet, small wire diameters and the shorter hoses found in small workshops. Hose barbs accept 6 or 8 mm bore hose, secured with a clamp. Each tube has its own flow adjusting valve, so the second gas can be closed completely when only one is needed, and the scale is read at the top edge of the float. For maintenance, rinse nothing inside the body with solvents, and wipe the outside only with a dry or slightly damp cloth; solvents can craze polycarbonate flow tubes.
